Staff augmentation
Staff augmentation for your development team: the person works by your rules, inside your process and under your management. We answer for their qualification, the paperwork and replacement, you answer for the tasks and the priorities.
Outstaffing is what you need when you already have a team and it is short of people. A deadline is burning and you need to move faster. A key person left and finding a replacement takes three months. A rare skill is needed for a quarter, and hiring it permanently makes no sense. In all of these cases you get a person inside the team rather than a separate contractor with plans of their own.
It matters to understand what exactly you are buying. In outstaffing the management stays with you: you set the tasks, you decide the priorities, and you answer for the project result. We answer for the person being qualified, contracted, available during the agreed hours and replaceable if something goes wrong. If there is no management inside and nobody to set tasks, outstaffing will not fill that gap: the person will sit idle and you will be paying for that idleness. In that situation it is more honest to discuss outsourcing.
The second thing to plan for is onboarding. A week, and on complex systems two, goes into getting into the code, the agreements, other people decisions and the history of the project. That is a normal cost, and we name it up front rather than pretending someone will deliver from day one.
And third: we do not learn at your expense. If a task calls for a skill we do not have, we will say so in the first conversation and suggest where to look. We will not put someone on a project to work out an unfamiliar technology as they go and on your money.
The people who most often join teams are frontend and backend developers, mobile developers, designers and infrastructure engineers. If an area is easier to hand over in full, that is outsourcing. If you first need to understand what is happening with the product and who is actually missing, start with an audit or IT consulting.

How we work
Which role is needed, which stack, for how long, and inside which process the person will work.
We present candidates, you talk to them yourself and decide yourself. We will not push anyone on you.
Access, getting into the code and the agreements, first small tasks.
Your tasks, your calls, your rules. What stays on our side is quality control and the contractual side.
If the person did not fit or the need has closed, we replace them or part ways under the agreed rules.

Frequently asked questions
In outstaffing you manage the person and answer for the project result, while we answer for their qualification and the contractual side. In outsourcing we take a whole area and answer for the scope, the deadlines and the acceptance.
Usually an hourly or monthly rate for the allocation. The rate depends on the role and the level, is fixed in the contract and does not change in the middle of a month.
We replace them. We treat the first two weeks as a settling-in period: if it is clear by then that it did not work out, the replacement happens with no discussion of money beyond the hours actually worked.
All agreed in the contract in advance: working hours, days of absence, cover arrangements for critical periods. There should be no surprises.
As a rule, one month. Shorter tasks are better taken as a project, because onboarding would eat a significant part of the term.
By default yes, full allocation to your project. Part-time allocation is possible if that suits you better, and it is then fixed in the contract.
We sign an NDA, access is granted by you and by name, and it is closed when the work ends.
Everything written by the person on your project belongs to you. The work happens in your repository and on your infrastructure.
